The Rogers Building at Upper Canada College brings together world-class athletic facilities and leading-edge spaces for learning and collaboration within a new, 188,120-square-foot facility located at the heart of its historic campus. This landmark building serves as the central hub for the College, linking the Preparatory and Upper Schools in a facility that showcases the vitality of an institution that looks ahead as it enters its third century.
Designed to reflect UCC's transformational approach to education, the Rogers Building weaves together academic, athletic, and community programming into a single, cohesive facility. At its heart is Celebration Hall, a central gathering space that connects students, faculty, and the broader community. The Learning Stair provides a flexible learning environment that can be utilized for presentations, special events, and student collaboration.
A new Dining Hall and Servery will serve both Upper School and Prep School students. This grand space opens up to an outdoor terrace overlooking the campus, grounding the building in its environment and reinforcing the connection between indoor and outdoor life at UCC.
On the second floor, the Leadership Lab provides a dedicated hub for leadership programming, complete with state-of-the-art learning environments and spaces that support teaching excellence.
The athletics wing features a dedicated entrance to support after-hours community sports programming. This wing includes a competition-ready, eight-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, a double gymnasium, and a viewing gallery. The indoor facilities are complemented by an outdoor multipurpose field, which will have flexible sports programming like U14 soccer, providing a new competition level venue to the campus.
