180 Duncan Mill
The retrofit of 180 Duncan Mill Road made this office competitive again in the 21st century commercial real estate market.

Sweeny&co re-imagined an existing, vacant 160,000 square foot office building and oversaw its complete renovation to become fully leased and the most successful building in its category. This involved removal and replacement of all of the building systems including mechanical and electrical infrastructure, interior finishes and the building skin. This renovation also included the introduction of floor-to-ceiling glazing, operable windows, indirect lighting, and a raised-floor system throughout for distribution of underfloor air, power, and data. 

The innovative approach to office space offers a competitive advantage to tenants in their ability to control operating energy expenditures, allows greater flexibility for future change and offers greater comfort to the occupants; all fostering desirability for this new state-of-the-art office built on the framework of an abandoned structure. This refurbished facility was the progenitor for much of our later work in base building and tenant fit-out design.
