PC Financial Offices

PC Financial Offices
We created something better for PC Financial by using less space, yet creating more opportunities for their employees and the organization as a whole to do their best work.

PC Financial's head office occupies two floors at TELUS House Toronto, 25 York Street, Toronto.

Sweeny&Co was asked to respond to almost impossible objectives:

  • reduce space “required” by old standards from 52,000 s.f. to 36-40,000 s.f.;
  • increase employee amenity space from less than 5% to more than 15-20% of the area of the facility;
  • add all new tools such as more and better meeting areas, a “Town Hall” meeting room to hold the entire organization; and,
  • increase moral, brand awareness and productivity and quality of life at work.

Working closely with the PC Financial Team, Sweeny&Co exceeded expectations, achieved all objectives and the results continue to add value to the company. These objectives required a much different and more creative response - moving walls, reconfigurable furniture, program transformations - resulting in a flexible and continuously-evolving facility.
