Between Queen and Richmond Streets from Sherbourne to Ontario is the site of the redevelopment of an entire city block for a mixed use development. The 2 million SF development includes +1500 residential units - both rental and condo in three towers- a 150 suite hotel, 160,000 SF of office space, as well as multi-level retail space. The design provides for two activated pedestrian through-block connections as well as a mid-block Urban Room, lined with retail and restaurant uses, all made possible by locating all the loading and servicing spaces below grade. Ultimately this development will act as a catalyst for the positive revitalization of the neighborhood.
